Lightbulb Guild Wars Store - Item Sales Suggestion

Forgive me if someone has already mentioned this, I have searched the forums and come up with nothing unless it has been suggested under an irrelevent subject, or this may already be in the process of being developed and I just have not found it searching Google.

This may be a totally rediculous idea and may have some effects that I have not thought out (very likely) but im just throwing it out there.

With the recent introduction of the Store feature within the GW client, it seems that this opens up an ideal opportunity for some form of 'In-game Item for Cash' feature, where in-game items are listed (in an 'Items' section in the already active Shop feature) and purchased for real money.

The items can then be 'added' to the active account by simply signing up to a secure server where PayPal or standard Credit Card details are stored, making it a one click procedure to get the item/items chosen.

Although this would more than likely anger lot's of people who put in many an hour farming items, there could still be the in-game items that are not possible to buy using the Shop feature, ie. Green Items or even a new Item Class (Red or Blue or whatever).

From the Developers side of things this would be a well worthwhile move as they would be making money selling (in essence) nothing.

Obviously this would be no small addition and would easily require a whole team to support, but I think from both the User's and the Developers side of things it would be a very beneficial extension.

Thanks for reading
Maddy

Update:-
My bad, eventually found the thread that this should have been posted under.

A million apologies to Admin for the re-post of this subject, will make sure not to do this again. Had trouble finding the Shop threads though I must admit, maybe a new group or something?

Apologies again
Maddy

They're against eBayers, why would they sell the very items that other people are selling that they don't want them selling? You didn't think it through :P

The only reason they are against eBayers is because they are making money from ANets creation.

I dont think you understand what im getting at here, ANet sell the items from the GW Shop, that way no one is making money apart from ANet. It makes perfect sense, the only problem with this kind of service is the Economy Balance.
